nosnoreYou may prefer to say all natural, but au naturel is a bit more exciting for some. The time has come to tell you all about natural snoring solutions. Now, when I say natural I don’t mean homeopathic sprays or pills.

Just start by putting one foot in front of the other. It’s easy and you’ve done it a million times. Go for a walk. Jog on the beach. Dance in your yard in the middle of the afternoon, just do something. The first natural snoring solution I want to tell you about is exercise.

It’s been said a million times before but it’s still worth repeating, exercise does a body good. Sometimes people are shocked to learn that exercise is actually one of the best snoring solutions. It makes perfect sense though.

Things like extra body weight and loose muscle tone are often contributing factors to snoring and exercise can help with both those issues. Exercise can help with almost anything actually. There are literally too many benefits that come from exercising to list in any one place. Now you know you can add snoring relief to the list.

Facial Focus

There are 43 muscles in your face alone. Most people seem to just assume that you can’t work them because you can’t lift a barbell with them. That’s not true. There are plenty of exercises that you can do for your face. In addition to that, you can also work your throat, tongue, and jaw.

Making sure any of these areas are more active can help to bring you relief from snoring. Facial exercises and the like aren’t exactly a hot pop culture topic, but the information is available if you’re willing to put in a few minutes a day.

Does Yogi Bear snore during hibernation? I can’t tell you for sure, but that’s not the kind of yogi I’m telling you about here. Yoga can be an excellent snoring solution. Things like breathing and muscle control are core concepts in yoga and those are the kind of things that can really cut down how much you snore.

It’s kind of the same story here as with exercise though. There are so many additional benefits you can experience by doing yoga that it’s hard to fit them all in one place. If you have a snoring problem and you’ve ever had an interest in yoga, this would be a great time for you to start. The benefits you experience would probably be even greater than what most people experience because of the increased quality of your sleep.

Time to Put It Down

It’s time to talk about what most people consider to be the least enjoyable natural snoring solutions. I’m talking about positive lifestyle changes. Things like quitting smoking and drinking less alcohol are the main changes some people choose to make. Both smoking and drinking too much alcohol can directly contribute to snoring. Smoking irritates your airway and can cause inflammation, especially in the long run. Alcohol causes your muscles to relax and you already know that loose muscles around your airway can cause snoring.

If you’re one of those people who really enjoys smoking or drinking then quitting has probably passed through your head at some point for one reason or another. I’m not here to judge you; I want that to be clear. What you do is your own business.

However, eliminating either of these habits can be an effective snoring solution. I do want to mention though that if you are a smoker it can take several years before you start breathing during sleep normally. On a more positive note, that’s only if you don’t make any other changes or get help from an anti-snoring device.


As you can see, if you want a natural snoring solution that doesn’t cost you anything you have plenty of options available. Some of them are definitely more enjoyable than others but they are all worth the effort in the long run.

There isn’t an option here that doesn’t come with additional benefits to your health. Whether you decide to start exercising, exercise more, or kick a bad habit, all of these natural snoring solutions can work wonders on their own or be a great compliment to an anti-snoring device.
